The Forest Dog Rescue team is dedicated to helping the dogs find homes that will be able to suit them and their needs. The Forest Dog Rescue team and their volunteers have spent many hours refurbishing the kennels and stables in site; painting and cleaning, to bring them up to the high standard that they are today for their dogs to have a sheltered place to stay until their forever homes are found.
In the photo we have Buttons the Jug X with his handler Ed, Betty the American Bulldog X with her handler Jack, Mitch the Lurcher with his handler Stuart and Simon the SBT X with his handler Annabelle.

West Wales Poundies are a small volunteer led registered charity dedicated to saving the lives of dogs from the local council pounds in West Wales.
They are focused on saving dogs from the local pounds, as these dogs only have 7 days before they are put sleep unless they are claimed by their owner or a rescue takes them into their care within the 7 days.
Here we have Pepsi, the jug cross, in her new coat.

StreetVet do fantastic work to help support the homeless and their furry companions.
With homelessness becoming a growing problem in the UK, more and more homeless people have pets. The bond between anyone and their animal is strong and we always want to do the best for our furry friends, StreetVet helps to keep that bond with the person and their pets by checking over the pets’ health and giving supplies to help them keep and look after their pets.
They have created a Street Vet accredited hostel scheme, which includes, pet boarding, hostel staff training and education, hostel dog/cat policy, StreetVet patients, provision of pet essentials, pet transport, in-practice veterinary diagnostics and surgery, 24hr emergency free phone number and much more. This is already having an impact and will make a huge difference to helping homeless people keeping their pets with them. These accredited hostels will be taking in people and their pets, so they have somewhere they are safe and are able to go together without having to give up their pets. StreetVet are expanding this program around the UK continually to ensure homeless people and their pets have access to shelter and essentials.
